Nation's Place

NATION'S PLACE

Nation in a place in the North-West of Paris Between 11th and 12th district.
This place is called Nation's Place Since 1880 because it means: National holiday.

Nation is a relaxful place at night but also a square of History.
On 1784 many statues are built, like "Les Colones de Ledoux", to show the beggining of the Court of Vincennes, where lays two statues of Philipe Auguste and Saint Louis.

But Nation also has a dark past. In fact, this place was use to guillotined politician criminal whose was then put on common graves.

But the most known and important statue in Nation ils of course "Le Triomphe de la République", built with bronze.
It represents many symbols, like Freedom, Work an Justice.

A beautiful place asking for only one thing: see me and like me~!
